RE: Multi Region DVD
i did search a good 12months back and you could actually beat the region lock out for free on most to make the drives multi region http://www.pcreview.co.uk/articles/Hardw...gion_free/

never followed it up beyond that as i picked up a second dvd drive for free, so just have one running region 1 another running region 2

Now I have one too, a 360 blog that is !

RE: Multi Region DVD
DVD Shrink rips the protection off - then rip DVD to harddrive and watch from that

RE: Multi Region DVD
i believe you still need the drive to match the region before hand otherwise dvd shrink will reject the disc

RE: Multi Region DVD
for some reason when i brought it, customs decided to place it in a bonded warehouse, a month later they randomly released it

it was all still in its plastic wrapping etc but the parcel had clearly been opened, stamped with impounded and came with a letter stating it had been opened and held by HMRC, I figure it must have been siezed as part of a drugs impounding and later processed out as not involved
